It will be a special game this evening for Roma striker Tammy Abraham and Milan defender Fikayo Tomori, as the lifelong friends and former Chelsea teammates face off.
The Serie A match kicks off at the Stadio Olimpico at 19.45 GMT.
It was Tomori who Abraham called for advice when he was first linked with a move to Roma over the summer.
Tomori had been in Italy for well over a year already, having joined Milan initially on loan from Chelsea in January 2020 and then making it a permanent transfer.
The pair have known each other since they were six years old, coming up together through the Chelsea youth academy.
Abraham certainly did not regret the move to Italy either, as he scored four goals in his first nine competitive matches for Roma, although he has been caught up in the recent downturn of form at Jose Mourinho’s squad.
When the transfer was completed, Tomori joked on Instagram that the pair “can’t stay away from each other! The journey continues brother, I’m so happy for you!
“But now… we are rivals.”
