“Thiago Silva is a Milan player and there is little else to say, apart from that he will stay at Milan,” Paulo Tonietto told TMW on Monday.
“The interest in Thiago is clear, but I like Cristiano Ronaldo as a player too…” the agent smiled. “Thiago wants to remain with the Rossoneri.
“He is a boy of great value, on both a human and footballing level. He’s also very happy in Milan so why would he want to leave?
“There are no negotiations going on for Thiago Silva, also because they would be extremely difficult to conduct.
“I can’t calm the fears of anxious Milan fans as I am only his agent, that is a job for Milan. But I can talk for the player and he wants to stay.”
Milan have already lost one influential stopper this term given that Alessandro Nesta opted against signing a new 12-month contract at Milanello.
