Milan’s Thiago Silva is showing Fiorentina respect ahead of Saturday’s game despite the Viola’s struggles.

The Tuscan outfit have had a mediocre campaign so far and their run of just one win from their last seven games saw boss Sinisa Mihajlovic sacked after defeat at Chievo.

Former Palermo boss Delio Rossi was hired to replace him and the latter will make his debut on the bench against the Rossoneri.

“It will be a very difficult game for us against Fiorentina,” stated the Brazilian international centre-back.

“Rossi has arrived in Florence and he’s a quality tactician, one who caused us problems last season when we took on Palermo.

“We, however, are ready.

“Fiorentina have changed a lot since last term. It won’t be easy, but if we remain focused then we can have a good game.”

Reigning champions Milan are in hot form as they have won their last five League games, scoring 18 goals in the process.
