Check out fans’ reactions on Twitter as Porto coach Sérgio Conceição refused to shake hands with Inter boss Simone Inzaghi after a 0-0 draw in the second leg of the Champions League Round of 16 on Tuesday.

The game’s outcome means Inter have qualified for the Champions League quarter-finals for the first time in 12 years. Conceição looked extremely frustrated after the final whistle and refused to shake hands with Inzaghi.

As a few fans highlighted on social media, it was somehow surprising given that Conceição and Inzaghi know each other very well having played together at Lazio between the 90s and the 2000s, winning one Serie A title at the Stadio Olimpico, the last one in the club’s history so far.

Others see a similarity between the former Portugal winger and his compatriot José Mourinho, now in charge of Roma.

Inzaghi didn’t comment on the incident after the final whistle but turned attention to his achievements at the Stadio Meazza, highlighting that the Serie A title Inter won under Antonio Conte two years ago ’caused some financial problems’ to the club.
