Lazio director Igli Tare insists Maurizio Sarri’s debut campaign at the Olimpico has been positive and they can achieve their target of ‘European qualification’ by beating Milan tonight.

“We had a difficult start that damaged our campaign, because I think from the 10th week onwards we’d be fourth in terms of points,” Tare told DAZN.
“It was just the first two months when we needed time to get to know each other, with change of system, coach and players.
“I think the team found itself in the second half of the season and we have done very well.”

“Certainly. The objective for us is European qualification, the level of this squad is very good, so one game at a time, today is the first of five Finals and we must try to win it.”
