In an interview with Mediaset, the England boss was asked for his opinion on numerous coaching topics.

"Sometimes such decisions are rewarded. Juve could win the gamble as Barcelona did with Guardiola.

Fabio Capello has labelled Juventus' proposed bid for Antonio Conte as courageous, while also passing comment on Max Allegri, Leonardo, Pep Guardiola and Jose Mourinho.

In an interview with Mediaset, the England boss was asked for his opinion on numerous coaching topics.

"I'd say it is a courageous choice," he said about reports suggesting that Conte would replace Gigi Del Neri at Juve.

"Sometimes such decisions are rewarded. Juve could win the gamble as Barcelona did with Guardiola.

"Conte is a youngster who already has experience behind him. He's worked in Serie B, he's worked in Serie A, and has also suffered a few problems. These help you to grow."

Turning to Milan, he praised boss Allegri for leading the Rossoneri to the Scudetto in his first season at San Siro.

"I've liked his work," Capello added. "He did well to create an excellent group and it was clear how compact they were by the way they celebrated the Scudetto.

"You have to admire the important decisions that he took, he had courage. You go nowhere without courage."

Allegri replaced Leonardo at Milan last summer, with the Brazilian eventually moving to Inter after the dismissal of Rafael Benitez.

"Leonardo should certainly remain at Inter. He did very well with their fight-back. He'll have to confirm the good things he's done this season next term.

"He has to be aware though as Milan have already strengthened, Juventus have a desire to be reborn and Napoli have some phenomenal attackers."

Focus was then shifted to Spain, where the former Real Madrid Coach was asked for his thoughts on Guardiola and Jose Mourinho.

"They are both great. Guardiola was with me at Roma and I have to be honest – his Barcelona play some divine football."

Finally, Capello seemed to reject reports that Franco Baldini, his assistant, would soon be heading for the American revolution at Roma.

"You'll have to ask Baldini about that, not me. I just know that we have a marvellous relationship and he'll stay with me and England ahead of the European Championships."
