There is an unexpected report in England’s The Sun newspaper that Juventus are offering Aaron Ramsey to Tottenham Hotspur on loan.

SunSport maintains the Bianconeri proposed the idea to Spurs in order to get his £400,000 per week wages off their already huge salary bill.

While it is generally considered to be true that Ramsey’s future in Turin is far from certain just a year after joining from Arsenal as a free agent, he is more likely to be used as part of an exchange deal to bring in other transfer targets.

While it is generally considered to be true that Ramsey’s future in Turin is far from certain just a year after joining from Arsenal as a free agent, he is more likely to be used as part of an exchange deal to bring in other transfer targets.

An example would be the repeated suggestion in Italy that Ramsey be used as part of a deal with Manchester United for Paul Pogba.

Former Gunners star Ramsey would be reticent to join their arch-rivals Tottenham, while Juventus cannot let the Wales international go on loan when he can be such a valuable transfer pawn on the market.

He did not take part in this week’s Coppa Italia semi-final with Milan, as he is injured.
