Roma full-back Leonardo Spinazzola is set to pull out of the Italy squad after picking up another injury.

After being rested for the midweek fixture against Borussia Mönchengladbach in the Europa League, Spinazzola limped off during the 2-0-loss to Parma on Sunday.

A muscle injury seems to be the issue, and he had to ask to be substituted after only 26 minutes at the Tardini.

According to Corriere dello Sport, he will be omitted from the Italy squad to face Bosnia-Herzegovina and Armenia in their final two Euro 2020 qualifiers.

However, given the Azzurri have already booked their place at the tournament, the setback is more of a problem for his club.

Lorenzo Pellegrini, Nikola Kalinic, Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Davide Zappacosta and Bryan Cristante are all currently on the Giallorossi’s treatment table.

The ex-Juventus defender will be the third player to leave Roberto Mancini’s camp after Domenico Berardi and Marco Verratti.
