Roma Coach Luciano Spalletti says ‘the details went against us’ in their draw with Bologna and discusses Edin Dzeko.
The Giallorossi were held to a 1-1 draw by the Rossoblu in Monday night’s Serie A game, leaving them six points off Napoli in second.
“There isn’t much to say except to continue on this path,” Spalletti told Roma Radio.
“There wasn’t the drop in tension that we feared, but then the details went against us and that made the difference.

“There wasn’t the drop in tension that we feared, but then the details went against us and that made the difference.
“Why didn’t Dzeko play? I preferred to leave Edin out on Sunday, because at this point of the season players need to be managed.
“Dzeko wanted to train, but I had him do a precautionary session. He had this grudge that he brought the next day.
"When he tried, his muscle stiffened. He did an MRI that showed there was a risk in playing an hour before the match. I spoke with him, he would’ve started in my lineup.
“If the team had needed it, I would’ve taken the risk during the match.”
