De Biasi has been touted as a potential replacement for Azzurri CT Antonio Conte, who will leave for Chelsea after this summer’s tournament.
“It would be fascinating, but there isn’t anything concrete,” De Biasi told Quotidiano Sportivo.
“Do I feel ready for an experience like this? Who wouldn’t be?
“I have a contract until 2017 but I also have an agreement with the President of the Federation: in the event of a great opportunity he would let me go.”
