Zenit St Petersburg boss Luciano Spalletti has claimed that no one from Milan has contacted him about becoming their new Coach.

Clarence Seedorf has been the heavy favourite to take over from Massimiliano Allegri at the end of the season, but the former Roma man has opened up about what needs to be done at San Siro to regain some success.

“No one from Milan has called me about becoming the new Coach,” he told Gazzetta dello Sport.

“You could establish a new cycle though and everyone is aware that there are several things that need to be changed.

“I indicated that Milan would be rivals to Juventus” data-scaytid=”11″>Juventus, but I was wrong. The team needs to be grafted together – that is the most important thing.

“I have a contract with Zenit until 2015 that I intend to honour.”

Spalletti then commented on new signing Keisuke Honda and Mario Balotelli’s form.

“Honda? I know him well. He’s scored a goal against my team even though I had highlighted him as a quality player.

“He is a playmaker of the highest quality. He can form a perfect partnership with Kaka.

“Balotelli? I would have to tell him a few things. Mario has quality and is strong, but occasionally needs the right advice. I’m sure that something strange will happen again.”
