Sky Sport Italia claims West Ham are ‘concretely’ interested in Genoa star Albert Gudmundsson, but the Rossoblu are unwilling to sell after sending Radu Dragusin to Tottenham.

West Ham are reportedly interested in Genoa striker Gudmundsson and have made a ‘concrete’ approach with Il Grifone to sign the Iceland international in the January transfer window.

However, Genoa didn’t even listen to the offer from East London as they’ve just agreed to sell Dragusin to Tottenham.

The 21-year-old centre-back is on the verge of completing a €31m transfer and took off from Genoa’s airport on Wednesday morning to undergo his medical in North London.

Gudmundsson is Genoa’s leading scorer this season with ten goals and three assists in 19 Serie A games and has been included in Opta’s best XI for the first part of the campaign.

The 26-year-old has recently signed a new deal with Genoa to extend his stay at the Stadio Ferraris until June 2027.
