Christian Pulisic, Lautaro Martinez and Gleison Bremer are among the players included in Opta’s Best XI for the first part of the Serie A campaign.

The Girone d’Andata came to a close this past weekend, seeing Inter crowned as the winter champions, followed by Juventus, who are just two points below their rivals.

Inter’s outstanding performances in Serie A are mirrored by Opta’s ideal XI for the first part of the campaign, which includes four players coached by Simone Inzaghi.

They are Francesco Acerbi, Federico Dimarco, Hakan Calhanoglu and the current Serie A leading scorer Lautaro Martinez who has netted 16 times in 17 league games.

Juventus have two representatives, Bremer and Danilo, plus two of their loanees, Arthur and Matias Soulé. The Brazilian midfielder is thriving at Fiorentina under Vincenzo Italiano, reaching peaks he had never achieved in Turin, while the Argentinean winger is the player with the most successful dribbles in the opening 19 games of the season.

Milan only have one representative, USMNT international Pulisic, while Michele Di Gregorio (Monza) and Albert Gudmundson (Genoa) complete Opta’s ideal XI, which does not include any player from Roma and Napoli.
