The Italian international is well-placed to comment on the Bianconeri’s Champions League Quarter Final opponents, playing against them on a regular basis in Ligue 1.
“The Bianconeri should not make the mistake of underestimating them,” Sirigu cautioned as he spoke to Corriere della Sera.
“They’re in the Quarter Finals on merit.”

The former Palermo ‘keeper also discussed Serie A, and while reiterating that he doesn’t want to return in the near future, the 28-year-old thinks the competition is improving.
“I think in a short while the Italian League will return to the top where it was in the past. I don’t know if I’ll return one day, never say never, but right now I’m happy in Paris.
“I’d go back to Italy for pleasure and not out of necessity.”
