The Easter Monday results shook up the Serie A table, as while Inter remain on track to shatter records, Roma are at risk and the relegation battle is tighter than ever.

Due to the break for Easter Sunday, half the Week 30 fixtures were played on Saturday and the other half on Monday.

Inter saw off Empoli 2-0 to maintain the 14-point lead over Milan at the top of the table, so could still secure the Scudetto in the Derby della Madonnina on April 22, as well as set a new all-time record of 103 points.

The race for the Champions League spots is a little more complicated, as Bologna beat Salernitana 3-0 to close within two points of third-place Juventus.

Roma missed the opportunity to do the same, held 0-0 by Lecce, and are now at risk of losing fifth spot because Atalanta are two points behind them with a game in hand to be played against Fiorentina.

There were several head-to-head clashes in the relegation zone on Monday and they ended in stalemates, leaving the situation as tight as ever.

Excluding doomed Salernitana, there are still seven teams crammed into a five-point radius.

Sassuolo remain in penultimate place, even though they close the gap to just one point from Empoli and Frosinone.

Cagliari and Verona break away slightly with a two-point advantage over the drop zone, while Udinese and Lecce are on the outer edges of the battle.
