It’s a must-win game for Juventus against their former defender and assistant coach Igor Tudor.

The former centre-back played most of his playing career in Turin and was Andrea Pirlo’s assistant coach in 2020-21.

His Verona side have collected all their 12 points during his seven games in charge. Tudor was hired in September to replace Eusebio Di Francesco who had been sacked after three defeats from three games.

Nicolò Casale and former Juventus defender Gianluca Frabotta are still in doubt and the same is true of Ivan Ilic who is dealing with an ankle injury.

Juventus suffered a 2-1 defeat against Sassuolo on Wednesday and are just three points above Hellas in the Serie A table.

Most importantly they sit 13 points behind leaders Milan and Napoli. Nobody has ever managed to win the title recovering from such a position.

Federico Chiesa and Aaron Ramsey are injured and so are Mattia De Sciglio and Moise Kean. However, Federico Bernardeschi returns to action after missing the game against Sassuolo.
