The Lega Serie A has confirmed kick-off times for the 2012-13 campaign and that Weeks 1 and 2 will be strictly evening affairs.

The draw for the coming season’s fixtures was held yesterday, pairing Juventus and Parma, Palermo and Napoli, Milan and Sampdoria and Roma and Catania together in the opening round of League matches.

The draw for the coming season’s fixtures was held yesterday, pairing Juventus and Parma, Palermo and Napoli, Milan and Sampdoria and Roma and Catania together in the opening round of League matches.

Those and Week 2’s pick, which includes Udinese” data-scaytid=”5″>Udinese hosting Juve and Roma’s travelling  to Inter, are all now confirmed to be scheduled for evening kick-offs.

The Lega Serie A have announced that the first two rounds of fixtures, to be held across the weekends of August 25 and 26 and September 1 and 2, will be played at late afternoon and early evening time slots.

Similarly, the three designated midweek rounds in the first half of the season, scheduled on Weeks 5, 10 and 17, will all be played between the Tuesday and Thursday of those weeks at 8.45pm Italian time kick-offs.

From Week 3’s round to be played on September 15 and 16, the League will revert to two Saturday evening kick-off windows of 6pm and 8.45pm and three Sunday kick-off slots of 12.30pm, 3pm and 8.45pm, all Italian time.
