There are breaks for international duty and Christmas, meaning there are no Serie A games on the weekends of September 6, October 11, November 15, December 27, January 1 and March 27.

Teams cannot have more than two consecutive home games or away fixtures.

Local derbies (apart from Milan-Inter) and clashes between the big clubs (Inter, Juventus, Milan, Napoli and Roma) cannot be scheduled for midweek rounds.

Champions League and Europa League teams will not be paired together in Week 7, 10, 13 and 17.

We already know that due to various issues regarding stadium restructuring, other local events and concerts, the first round will have Atalanta, Bologna, Carpi, Napoli, Torino and Udinese away from home.
