“In this situation, we can’t talk about favourites for the Scudetto,” he told Juventus official website. “All the teams risk dropping points.
“The most important thing is to conclude the season and if the health situation permits it, we must review the protocols and avoid quarantine, to reach the conclusion of the championship.”
Juventus start with a home game against Milan in the Coppa Italia tomorrow and Sarri insists the empty stadium can impact the quality on the pitch.
“It’s certainly not a beautiful feeling, but the strength of a team lies in knowing how to get away from the environmental conditions.
“Even the rhythm might change. The absence of the fans can change things, even if the slow rhythm is more an impression you get on TV, due to the silence.
The tactician is concerned about the health of his players and fears injuries.
“I believe it’s a very high risk, since there has been a muscle decline for everyone.
“We have opted for a system of increasing the workloads, but lower than what we usually do in the summer.
“The other unknown factor will be next season, given that we can’t make any big preparatory calls.”
Juventus are preparing for the Coppa Italia match against Milan tomorrow and Sarri claimed the separated tournaments could be present an advantage for the Bianconeri this term.
“From experience, I would say that playing a game after a long break won’t have immediate consequences.
“We are lucky enough to fight for three objectives that will be played separately. It could be an advantage, to help us concentrate.
“Milan have always given us problems, the result of the first leg doesn’t guarantee anything. It will be an open game.”
