The new alliance between the Lega Serie A and Coca-Cola started with the Supercoppa Italiana and now proceeds with the Coppa Italia, before eventually expanding to Serie A in 2020-21.

The new alliance between the Lega Serie A and Coca-Cola started with the Supercoppa Italiana and now proceeds with the Coppa Italia, before eventually expanding to Serie A in 2020-21.

“Lega Serie A and Coca-Cola announce an important partnership agreement that will start with the 2019-20 Coppa Italia Final, scheduled on Wednesday June 17, 2020, at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome”, a press release read.

“Coca-Cola, a company that has been operating and producing in Italy for more than 90 years, will be, in the context of a broader strategic partnership.

“The title sponsor of the Italian Cup, which thus takes the name of ‘Coppa Italia Coca-Cola’. It will be a Final full of initiatives that through the social, digital and gaming platforms will involve the public at home before, during and after the match.

“This consolidates a relationship that began successfully last December, with the Coca-Cola Super Cup. The title sponsorship of the Supercoppa Italiana 2019-20, and that will see the iconic global brand becoming the Official Partner of the Lega Serie A in the next sporting season of 2020-21.

“This partnership is part of the strategy and globalisation process that the Lega Serie A has among their priority objectives, and affirms the positioning of Coca-Cola in the world of football with the values of positivity, inclusion and equality that have always inspired the brand.”
