Lazio coach Maurizio Sarri and player Manuel Lazzari have been fined €5,000 each for a row with Spezia supporters, while Davide Calabria and Danilo Cataldi are among those suspended this weekend.

The Disciplinary Commission gave its verdicts over the Week 30 Serie A fixtures, which saw Lazio win 3-0 at the Stadio Alberto Picco.

In the final minutes of that match, tension erupted between a group of fans behind the bench and the Biancocelesti coach.

Sarri was fined €5,000 for having a ‘provocative attitude towards the supporters, causing their reaction’ and winger Lazzari was fined €5,000 for ‘throwing a plastic bottle in the direction of the opposition fans.’

Spezia were fined €7,000 for the behaviour of their supporters during the altercation, as some threw half-full plastic drinking cups towards the coach and tried to spit at him, although the referee’s report states it hit a journalist close to the Lazio bench instead.

Despite the report being handed in of the screaming match between Atalanta coach Gian Piero Gasperini and Fiorentina directors Daniele Pradè and Joe Barone, the Disciplinary Commission decided not to take any further action.

Due to an accumulation of yellow cards, Milan captain Calabria, Lazio midfielder Cataldi, Spezia defender Ethan Ampadu and Sampdoria midfielder Abdelhamid Sabiri are given a one-match ban.

Also suspended for one game are Sampdoria goalkeeping coach Michele De Bernardin and Roma fitness coach Stefano Rapetti.
