"Our first objective is to get to 40 points as soon as possible," said the net-minder. "We can't afford to relax.

"We have to and can do better in the second half of the season than we did in the first part," he added.

Udinese drew 4-4 at leaders Milan last Sunday and travel to stuttering Genoa this weekend.

"It'll be a tough game," Handanovic continued. "We mustn't make the mistake in thinking that because Genoa are changing a lot this January then it'll be a simpler match for us."
