Juventus already have a plan to create space when Leandro Paredes arrives from PSG on Monday, sending Nicolò Rovella on loan to Monza.

The Bianconeri have been working on this Paredes deal for months, but it was delayed by the failure to release their current midfield options.

Adrien Rabiot was meant to be sold to Manchester United until his personal demands ruined the entire transfer, while Arthur Melo has proved far too expensive for Arsenal and Valencia to even take on loan.

According to the latest reports, it is youngster Rovella who will make room for Paredes, as the former Genoa man will be sent on loan to newly-promoted Monza.

The 20-year-old was purchased from Genoa in January 2021 for €23.3m, but left on loan with the Grifone for 18 months to continue the maturation process.

With his exit, Paredes can undergo his medical on Monday and complete the move to Juventus on loan with an option to buy for a total €15m.

  1. should have seen if you could have gone to udinese – berlusconni and uncle fester are still useless as ever

  2. No absolute no, terminate contract Arthur melo & rabiot but no send rovella miretti & fagioli to another team.

  3. Only the 7/9 could decide to abandon Fagioli and discard Rovella. Miretti better not get too excited with the 007 of the hexagon. He is getting some chances but I am sure PhD Pentagon will ruin him sooner rather than later.

  4. The way Allegri kept Rugani and Gatti on the bench for Danilo, a right-back, was very ridiculously humiliating.

  5. Why even bother purchasing young players if you waste them like that? This club needs to finally learn something from the likes of Real Madrid and Bayern Munich. No progress whatsoever since 2015.

  6. Rovella is good but a sick note. Better to test him out elsewhere for a while. No teams on max points so no-one is firing on all cylinders so far.
