Villarreal striker Giuseppe Rossi has reiterated his belief that the standard of Italian football is in decline.

The Italy international has been very vocal about a perceived decline in the quality of teams from Serie A, especially in Europe.

Speaking ahead of tonight's Europa League tie with Napoli, he said: "In recent years Italian clubs have gone in search of more physical players and they are paying for it.
