The Giallorossi will now negotiate with Barcelona on the basis of a loan with an obligation to buy next summer.
While the Catalan side are thought to be asking for a €2m loan with a €12m redemption clause, the Lupi are only offering €2m with €8m next summer.
However, a deal could potentially be found in the middle, with a €2m loan and a €10m transfer next summer.
