Roma's long saga for the purchase of midfielder Adrien Rabiot from Paris Saint-Germain reportedly still can't find a resolution.

The Giallorossi have confirmed that they are interested in the youngster and that if they were to sign him, it would likely be in January, as opposed to waiting for his contract to run down by June.

However, Tuttosport report in the same week that Arsenal have been paired with the Frenchman, that Roma have apparently postponed a scheduled meeting with PSG for the moment.

The situation may come to the advantage of other teams who are also interested in the talented Under-21, including the Gunners, Juventus and Manchester United, and who would be ready to pounce at any new openings.

Rabiot's entourage are still in talks with PSG over a potential renewal, and have reportedly asked PSG for a new contract, but the requested salary of €5m – a substantial raise over the €150,000-per-year he currently makes – is unlikely to be accepted by the French club.
