Now the Gazzetta dello Sport believes that it is not just Juventus who are coming forward, but Roma themselves are willing to listen to their offers.

Now the Gazzetta dello Sport believes that it is not just Juventus who are coming forward, but Roma themselves are willing to listen to their offers.
Apparently this is because the €38m clause, if activated, would see a full 15 per cent (€5.7m) of the payment go directly to Pjanic himself, and not to the club.
It would thus be more convenient for the Lupi to negotiate a deal that does not involve the clause, at a price a little over €30m.
Juventus are willing to match that, and add one of their players to boot. Among the candidates to join Luciano Spalletti's teams there are Simone Zaza, Roberto Pereyra and Kwadwo Asamoah.
Roma's transfer strategy changed very suddenly as defender Antonio Rudiger, who was meant to be sold for substantial amounts, injured himself in training with Germany and saw his value plummet. It now seems more likely that his club would sell Pjanic in an effort to find capital.
