Roma Coach Rudi Garcia says the Giallorossi must make up for dropping points at home by winning at Palermo tomorrow.

The Lupi sit two points behind Juventus at the top of the table after drawing 2-2 with Lazio on Sunday before Juventus defeated Napoli at San Paolo.

That result represented the Lupi’s third home draw in a row, points which the Coach believes his side have to claw back in the coming weeks.

That result represented the Lupi’s third home draw in a row, points which the Coach believes his side have to claw back in the coming weeks.

The Bianconeri face Verona, Chievo and Udinese in their next three fixtures, while Garcia’s men will take on the Rosanero, Empoli and Fiorentina, but the Frenchman isn’t worried that their rivals have easier fixtures on paper.

“There’s the schedule, and then there’s reality,” Garcia insisted in his Press conference ahead of the Palermo game.

“Football sometimes seems difficult, but this year we’ve demonstrated – as in December – that you can drop points against the smaller teams.

“That’s how football is, we need to recover the points we’ve dropped at home away from home.

“The schedule doesn’t mean anything, all I can do is push my team forward and do everything possible to win every game.”

The former Lille Coach was less forthcoming, however, on the spat between the hierarchies of Roma and Lazio.

“The directors have spoken about that.

“We will not give up a second or a millimetre in our focus on the next game. We must only think about Palermo, the rest I’m not going to waste my time with.”
