According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Roma owner Dan Friedkin is looking for partners to inject fresh resources into the club.

Friedkin bought Roma for €199m one year ago, ending Jim Pallotta’s seven-year reign at the Stadio Olimpico.

However, according to the pink paper, the Giallorossi are now struggling to collect the resources needed to develop the club.

The COVID pandemic led to a lack of new sponsorships deals. Therefore, Friedkin is reportedly looking for a new business partner to inject cash into the club.

Back in May, Roma released a statement confirming their net financial adjusted debt has risen to €265.6m from March 31, 2021.

According to the report, Roma have received a €200m cash injection since the Friedkins took over one year ago, but the new owners need fresh resources now.

The Friedkins are reportedly seeking help from US funds that could provide further financial aid and give structural solutions for the future of the Giallorossi.
