According to AS.com, Barcelona President Joan Laporta is considering bringing Cristiano Ronaldo and Leo Messi together, offering Antoine Griezmann or Coutinho to Juventus.
Ronaldo’s future in Turin is in doubt as the Portuguese ace has only one year remaining in his contract with the Old Lady.
According to several reports in Italy, Juventus are open to selling the former Real Madrid star for €29m in the summer, but Ronaldo will only decide his future at the club at the end of Euro 2020.
His agent Jorge Mendes was in Milan a few weeks ago, but didn’t meet Juventus executives.
As.com reports, Barcelona are one of the possible destinations for Cristiano Ronaldo as the Catalans’ President Joan Laporta is dreaming of bringing CR7 and Messi together at the Nou Camp.
According to the report, Laporta wants to offer Antoine Griezmann, Sergi Roberto or Coutinho in a swap deal to sign the Real Madrid legend.
Despite Barcelona’s tough financial situation, the Catalans could offer ‘a loan deal and use the wages freed up by the two makeweights (Griezmann and Coutinho) to foot the 36-year-old’s salary.’
It is also believed that Barcelona’s revenues would double if Ronaldo joins Messi at the Nou Camp.
