Roma continue negotiations with Sassuolo to reach an agreement for Davide Frattesi, but there are still €5m separating demand and offer.
The Italy international is determined to make his comeback to the Giallorossi, where he started his career in their youth academy.
He was sold to Sassuolo for €5m in 2017 with a clause giving Roma 30 per cent of his future transfer fee.
That is what allows the Capital club to get a significant discount compared to if he was sold to a different club.
According to Sportitalia, Sky Sport Italia and more, negotiations continued today and there is still a gap, because Roma are offering €20m and Sassuolo have dropped their asking price from €30m to €25m.
Tiago Pinto is in Rimini for the gala dinner marking the start of the summer transfer window and he was already spotted speaking to Sassuolo directors, but another meeting is expected either late tonight or tomorrow morning.

Let Roma cash in, that’s little money for that kind of promising player
