Reports in the Netherlands yesterday suggested that a deal for the 23-year-old’s transfer to the Italian capital had been agreed and this morning it was believed in Italy that Walter Sabatini would look to conclude negotiations by the end of today.
Following on from this position, it is believed that Roma are now just a few details away from concluding a deal for the midfielder.
Reportedly already having reached an agreement with the player, the Giallorossi are seen as close to concluding talks on a price to pay, with a total deal valued at €18m suggested as the two clubs’ compromise between PSV’s €20m valuation and Roma’s initial €15m offer.
