Roma and Nicolò Zaniolo have been fined €4,000 each for offensive chants aimed towards Lazio during their Conference League celebrations.

The incident was caught on camera as the open-top bus parade made its way through the city streets after winning the Europa Conference League.

Zaniolo was seen starting the offensive chant aimed towards city rivals Lazio, made worse by the fact he did it into the microphone on the bus, so it was clearly audible.

Roma lawyers did not contest the charge, instead working out a plea bargain.

This means Zaniolo and Roma will both be fined €4,000 that will be given to a football-related charity.
