Reports in Italy claim Roma have accepted Bournemouth’s offer for Nicolò Zaniolo, but the Italy international is unsure about a transfer.

There are conflicting reports on the offer received by the Giallorossi, but several sources in Italy claim Tiago Pinto has given the green light to open negotiations with the player.

Sky Sport Italia reports Bournemouth have offered €30m plus add-ons and a percentage on any future sale.

According to Il Corriere dello Sport the Premier League side have offered €30m plus €5m add-ons and a 10% clause on any future sale, while TMW claims the offer is worth €28m plus €7m add-ons and a 10% sell-on clause.

The transfer package would be around €35-36m, a fee close to Roma’s €40m asking price.

However, Zaniolo is unsure abut a transfer to Bournemouth who are struggling in the Premier League and are currently in the relegation zone. They also have the second-worst attack in the league, having only scored 15 goals so far.

Bournemouth are still with no victories in 2023 and the last time they collected three points in league games was on November 12, before the World Cup break.

Il Corriere dello Sport claims Zaniolo hasn’t yet rejected Bournemout’s offer but prioritises a move to Milan.

However, the Rossoneri’s potential offer would be nowhere near the Giallorossi’s demands as they are looking for a loan deal with an obligation to buy for €23-25m, tied to their Champions League qualification.
