Sampdoria midfielder Luca Rizzo believes that if his team gives its best against Juventus, ‘the result will follow’.
The young Blucerchiato has been putting in some solid performances with what is currently the fourth-ranked power in Serie A, and at only 22, he is considered an Italian prospect.
Ahead of the game against Juventus this weekend, the midfielder explained his mindset.
“You must never give up, you must always keep believing,” Rizzo has said in an interview with TeleNord.

“You must never give up, you must always keep believing,” Rizzo has said in an interview with TeleNord.
“When you know you've given everything, then you should be proud of yourself.”
Rizzo believes that his team should bring the same philosophy into the game against the Bianconeri.
“Juventus have a great midfield and a great team, the strongest together with Roma, and I'm not saying anything new here.
“We must do our job, play an open game and give our utmost. The result will follow.”
Sampdoria's current fourth position has surprised many, but Rizzo believes it is a result of the team's hard work.
“It mirrors what we are doing in training. Sometimes we have been unlucky, but the position in the standings is well deserved.
“Both the Coach and the President made me feel that I could be important to this team. The position on the pitch? I like to change, there is no problem, last year I played in every role.”
In spite of his strong performances, however, the 22-year old gives no mind to the idea of an Azzurri call-up.
“I'm not thinking about that for now. I see things step by step, not far into the distance, and for the moment this has worked for me.”
