Following rumours of an early exit from Inter, reports are that Roberto Mancini does not consider Nemanja Vidic in his first-choice defence.

Through injury, the Serbian has yet to challenge Juan Jesus and Andrea Ranocchia for first-team duties since the Coach’s return to the San Siro bench last month.

It is a situation that has already seen Vidic linked with an early exit from the club he only joined in the summer, with Manchester United said to be interested.

Despite his agent’s denials of a move away from Milan, Tuttosport are today reporting that Mancini has ‘rejected’ Vidic and does not consider him as a starter for the Nerazzurri.

It is alleged that should the ex-Red should not accept being first reserve to Ranocchia and Juan Jesus, the club will start looking for a substitute.

Candidates include Manchester City's Matija Nastasic, River Plate's Eder Balanta, and Galatasaray's Semih Kaya.
