Roma star Paulo Dybala is still struggling with an ankle injury and according to Sky Sport Italia, he won’t play for more than 30 minutes against Bayer Leverkusen on Thursday.

The Argentinean striker hasn’t trained with the team for several days and worked separately from the group on Monday, reports Il Corriere dello Sport.

The Rome-based paper claims La Joya is still dealing with an ankle injury and still feels pain, so he won’t start against Bayer Leverkusen.

Sky Sport confirms Dybala is not expected to feature in the Giallorossi’s starting XI against the Bundesliga side on Thursday in the second leg of the Europa League semifinals.

Sky Sport’s correspondent Paolo Assogna said on Tuesday afternoon that Dybala wouldn’t play for more than 30 minutes against Bayer.

José Mourinho will provide the latest updates on the Argentinean during a pre-match press conference on Wednesday.

Dybala has 16 goals and eight assists in 36 appearances across all competitions this season and started his last competitive match against Torino in Serie A on April 8.
