According to Tuttosport newspaper, Torino‘s option to sign Nikola Vlasic expires on June 10, but the Granata have already made contact with West Ham asking for a discount.

The Croatia international moved to the Stadio Grande Torino on loan with an option to buy for €13m last summer, but the Granata seem unwilling to spend as much to sign the attacking midfielder permanently.

Tuesday’s printed edition of Tuttosport (page 19) claims Torino’s option expires on June 10, but the Granata have already contacted West Ham directors, asking to sign the 25-year-old for a lower price.

According to the report, Torino don’t want to spend more than €9m and if West Ham refuse to sell the player for such a fee, then the Granata will push for a new loan deal to keep the player at the club in 2023-24.

Torino President Urbano Cairo hopes to persuade the Hammers knowing that Vlasic doesn’t want to return to London and wants to continue working with his compatriot Ivan Juric.

Vlasic has five goals and six assists in 34 appearances with the Granata this season.
