Inter legend Marco Materazzi will watch tonight’s Champions League semi-final against Milan alongside Nerazzurri ultras in Curva Nord.
The 2006 Italy World Cup winner had asked his Instagram followers on Monday to suggest where he should watch the match against Milan on Tuesday.
“What do you suggest for tomorrow?” he asked. The options were to watch the game from the main stand or the Curva.
The poll’s results are unknown, but most followers probably suggested Materazzi watch the game in Curva Nord alongside ultras.
On Tuesday afternoon, the former Italian defender confirmed his decision, sharing a Gazzetta dello Sport article in his Instagram stories.
The ex-Italy and Inter defender was on the pitch the last time the Nerazzurri reached the Champions League Final, lifting the trophy in 2010 with José Mourinho in charge and completing a memorable treble.
Simone Inzaghi’s men have the advantage in tonight’s fixture, having won the first leg 2-0 last week.
