According to TyC Sports, Juventus forward Angel Di Maria has decided to continue playing for Argentina even after lifting the World Cup.

The 34-year-old was instrumental in the Seleccion winning both the Copa America last summer and this month the World Cup in Qatar.

Although he played in only five games at the tournament due to injury, Fideo still contributed a goal and two assists.

That included a strike in the 3-3 Final draw with France, where he also earned the opening penalty for Lionel Messi.

It was assumed that this triumph would be the end of the international road for both Di Maria and Messi, but that does not seem to be the case.

PSG star Messi has already assured he wants to continue, while now TyC Sports in Argentina claim that Di Maria also wants to carry on representing his country.

Di Maria has 129 senior caps, in which he scored 28 goals.
