Fonseca’s men currently sit 15 points behind fourth-placed Atalanta with eight games remaining and are tied on points with Napoli

Milan’s positive run has given the Diavolo a chance of competing for fifth too, as they face league leaders Juventus tonight.

The rivals continue to put pressure on Roma and even if the newspaper writes that Fonseca has received support from the board, he can’t afford further setbacks.

The next two games could decide his future, with Luciano Spalletti already mentioned for a surprise return to the Olimpico and Argentine Mauricio Pochettino available, still without a job since losing his post at Tottenham Hotspur last November.
