Milan Coach Gennaro Gattuso is reportedly planning to give centre-back Mattia Caldara his first Serie A start of the season against Lazio.

After their defeat to Juventus, which was their third in four games, Milan are now preparing for the big clash with top-four rivals Lazio.

Goal.com reports Gattuso is ready to ring the changes ahead of Saturday’s match, among them the former Atalanta stopper replacing Mateo Musacchio in the heart of the Rossoneri defence.

The 24-year-old has been struck down with an Achilles injury this season and has made just one full appearance this term against Dudelange in the Europa League, but he returned to training a month ago.

Gattuso is also hoping Gianluigi Donnarumma and Andrea Conti recover from their respective injuries before the weekend.
