Updates on Italy internationals Alessandro Florenzi and Manuel Pasqual suggest quick recovery times from their injuries.

Along with Claudio Marchisio's cruciate ligament injury, which ruled the player out for a possible six months, the Roma midfielder and the Fiorentina captain also took trips to the Azzurri infirmary, with the latter eventually flying back to his club.

Reports suggest that their injuries may be not nearly as serious as Marchisio's.

Vivoazzurro.it relates of a statement by Italia doctor Andrea Castellacci, who sounded optimistic about Florenzi.

“The player will undergo cures and a special training for the right-knee trouble that's he been experiencing since the beginning of the training session.

“Florenzi will be monitored in the next few days with an eye to Tuesday's game against England in Turin.”

Pasqual is reported by FirenzeViola.it to have been sent home only as a cautionary measure. It is speculated that he will skip the game against Sampdoria on April 4, but may be available for the Coppa Italia semi-final against Juventus.
