Roma-Torino referee Rosario Abisso is rated 2 out of 10 by Tuttosport while La Gazzetta dello Sport claims he ‘had a disaster.’

Abisso sent off Torino’s Wilfried Singo through a double yellow card after only 15 minutes. According to the Italian sports paper, however, the second yellow card was not fair and Torino complained after the final whistle.

Tuttosport gave Abisso a rating of 2 out of 10. They write that the red card shown to Singo was not the only clear mistake of the referee who didn’t see a foul of Gianluca Mancini on Andrea Belotti prior to Henrikh Mkhitaryan’s goal, while the foul of Bremer on Edin Dzeko that caused a penalty kick for Roma could have been made outside Torino’s area.

“Abisso had a disaster,” writes La Gazzetta dello Sport, who rate the referee 4, while the rating from Il Corriere dello Sport is 4.5.
