“When you have that advantage in a two-legged game, if you sit back and think you have the lead then you find yourself in trouble,” said Redknapp.

“We have to treat it as a one-off and we have to go for it. We're at home and we have to go and try to win the game. It's not natural for us to sit on a 1-0 lead for 90 minutes.
“We will pick an attacking team and have a go at them, that's how we have got to play.”
Tottenham forward Defoe also commented on the second leg.
“I think they will come and sit back and try to frustrate us a little and make it difficult,” claimed the England international.
“I think in games like that you have to be very professional. Champions League games are a bit slower than Premier League games so you get a slow build-up and you have to keep possession.
“You can't get sloppy or switch off, because if you do that just once then they will punish you with the players they have got. If we do that then hopefully we will win.”
