Fiorentina boss Sinisa Mihajlovic welcomes his former club Catania and gives Adrian Mutu a stern warning. “Enough words, he needs action.”

The Serb spent last season in Sicily and took the team to unexpected safety before walking away.

“It is going to be a difficult game, as Catania have forwards who can put us under pressure,” said the Coach.

“We must be patient in finding a way to break through without leaving ourselves too open to the attack.”

The 1-1 draw at bottom of the table Bari saw Mihajlovic enraged at some of his players, who could be penalised this weekend.

“At Bari I was angry with Adem Ljajic and Mutu, but not with Alberto Gilardino, as he scored a goal. I've had enough of words from Mutu, he needs action now.”

Mihajlovic was brought in to give Fiorentina some fire in the belly, but has struggled to lift their morale at times.

“I do know a good part of the fans are against me, but in a certain way I like that. Not everything can go well in life and at times the negative aspects can strengthen you.

“I had six splendid months at Catania and I'm happy my old Lazio teammate Diego Simeone has this chance. I would've liked to bring the grit and determination of ‘my' Catania to Florence.”
