Edy Reja is already looking ahead to the Rome derby and reveals Giuseppe Sculli went off after “an allergic reaction to the pitch.”

Lazio recaptured fourth spot after their 2-0 win over Palermo, though Sculli had to be substituted after bagging a brace.

“He had a rash and red eyes at the end of the first half,” explained the Coach. “He had an anti-histamine, but it wasn't enough. Now he'll have to undergo allergy tests.”

It's believed Sculli had an allergic reaction to the green paint that was used to cover up patches of dry grass at the Stadio Olimpico.

“We struggled a little in the second half, even if we defended in an organised fashion. I expected a little more push, but we took our foot off the accelerator.

“Now there is the derby next week. Roma have quality and experience, so we've got to give it heart, just as we have done up until now.

“We are slightly ahead of them in the standings and hope we can keep both Roma and Udinese behind us. I've lost a few derbies, so I hope it's our turn this time round.

“I have brought harmony back to the locker room and that was a great conquest for me.”
