Multiple sources claim Real Madrid have decided to bring Brahim Diaz back to base and activate their buy-back clause, ending his three-year spell at Milan.

He turns 24 in August and was initially a product of the Manchester City academy before joining Real Madrid in January 2019.

The creative midfielder was sent out on two different loan spells at San Siro, the second of which is due to expire at the end of this month.

While the Rossoneri have a clause allowing them to make the move permanent, Real Madrid also included an option to over-ride that and bring him back.

According to Sky Sport Italia, Calciomercato.com, Diario AS and more, Real Madrid have now decided to recall Brahim Diaz and make him a ‘new signing’ for the 2023-24 campaign.

As part of that, he will put pen to paper on a new contract holding him at the Estadio Bernabeu until June 2027.

Brahim Diaz made 124 competitive appearances in the Milan jersey, contributing 18 goals and 15 assists.
