Aaron Ramsey won’t terminate his contract with Juventus, but the former Arsenal star remains on the market and Juventus are willing to sell him in January.

Ramsey joined the Bianconeri on a free transfer in 2019, but has been struggling with injuries during his time in Turin.

La Gazzetta dello Sport and Calciomercato.com reported that Juventus are considering terminating his contract in January, but this is not an option, according to Goal.com’s Romeo Agresti.

According to the report, there have been no contacts between Juventus and the player’s entourage about the matter and terminating Ramsey’s contract is not a realistic option at this stage.

The Wales international has only played five games under Massimiliano Allegri this season, but his €7m-a-year contract makes it difficult for the Old Lady to find suitors willing to sign him.

Ramsey’s agents also get €2.8-a-year from Juventus as part of the agreement reached in 2019.

The former Arsenal man remains on the market and the Serie A giants hope to sell him in the winter transfer window to lower their wage bill and make room for a new midfielder.

  1. shows how the free transfer strategy can go terribly wrong. Same with Rabiot. Free signings, but huge salaries and when they play like garbage they will never leave. Save us Newcastle, you’re our only hope!

  2. Why would he terminate his contract? It`s perfect scenario: he is a high earner and has nothing to do at all.

Leaching the rich old lady like a young stud!

  3. The transfer actually has gone wrong at the beginning
How can Juve ever think about having player with injury prone / fragile plastic glass leg like Ramsey?
His reputation is not so good also..

  4. @Fino alla fine: it`s simple, Agnelli clashed with Marotta and he left. Ever since then, Piemonte Calcio trasnfers have been a mess. Just look at these insane deals

  5. Don’t worry guys, Newcastle is in talks with him and they have $$$$

@I MISS JUVENTUS IN SERIE B : When some teams trade soon-to-be World Cup MVP Cannavaro for Carini they get 12 year contract extensions BUT at Juve you get let go for deals half as bad! You see the mountain of a gap in between 😉 ?

  6. This is a classic deal Juventus does these days. What it is bizarre is Juventus pays 3m to his agents. That looks like a corruption scheme to deceive the team…. but who knows

  7. Everyone deserves second chances. I have changed my mind and think he should get an extension just lower the wages.
