Adrien Rabiot says Juventus have extra motivation to get the better of Napoli this evening, as it is Andrea Agnelli’s final official match as President of the club.

It kicks off at 19.45 GMT at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona.

The France international spoke to DAZN before kick-off and referenced losing the World Cup Final to Argentina in Qatar last month.

“I am in good shape and happy with the World Cup campaign. It was a pity not to win the trophy in the Final, but I feel good, confident and we will try to win here.

“I want to dedicate this game to Andrea Agnelli, as it is last official game as President of Juventus and is a very special occasion for him.

“I want to thank him on behalf of everyone and we will try to win it for him too.”

Agnelli and the entire board of directors stepped down after the investigation into alleged financial mismanagement behind the scenes at Juventus.

That investigation is still going in three different areas, by UEFA, the Italian Football Federation and crucially also the Italian justice system.

Andrea Agnelli is one of the heirs to the family that has been in control of Juve for well over a Century and he was originally named President in May 2010, stepping down in November 2022.
